Turck introduces the Bi10-QN26 family: sensors specially designed for the requirements of the French automotive industry
08/09 – April 15, 2009
The Muelheim-based automation specialist Turck offers a new inductive sensor particularly suited to the specifications the Standardisation Committee for Manufacturing and Equipment (French: CNOMO) defined for the French automotive industry. Providing a separate mounting bracket, the new Bi10-QN26 allows the user to position the sensors’ active face in four directions. In this way, the sensor can be utilized for various applications in the vicinity of the French car manufacturers Citreon, Peugeot and Renault – like position detection at conveyor belts or part-inspection in assembling processes.
The cuboidal two-wire sensor (operating voltage: 10 to 65 VDC) with a height of 26 mm provides a switching distance of up to 10 mm. A clearly visible LED enables the user to check the sensor’s proper operation directly on-site. The new Bi10-QN26 is available as M12-pigtail version – with cable lengths of 0.15 and 0.8 meters – and with open-ended cables in 2 meters length.
