Easy-to-handle Turck displays indicate measuring values of Profibus-PA and Foundation Fieldbus stations

The new fieldbus displays by Turck enable the local indication of process values provided by Profibus-PA or Foundation Fieldbus stations. The LCDs of the models FD-48-T317/EX, FD-49-T317/EX display up to three process values, which may originate from one as well as from different fieldbus stations. With a digital display size of 30mm and a 41-segment bargraph additional to the quasi-analogue display, the measuring values are clearly and user-friendly arranged. The values can either be displayed cyclically or by manual switching.
A special focus was put on simple usage. The fieldbus display is thus designed as a “listener” and not as a standard fieldbus station. Therefore the device can be integrated in the network without host configurator or driver unit. The display can be parameterised by the user via two buttons and the power is supplied via the fieldbus station (< 10mA). The devices are suited for the connection to intrinsically safe circuits in Ex areas of zone1.
